Australian SI Survey
For a large multi-national client Creator Tech completed the first ever qualitative survey of the Australian System Integrator market. The survey involved 4 months of primary research at 3 levels: CEO level, Sales staff; and Technical staff.
The team focussed primarily on the area of improving the effectiveness of partnerships between ICT vendors and their System Integration (SI) partners.
Astonishingly, the project discovered that much of the conventional wisdom about what channels need, is based on myth rather than on fact.
The empirical feedback received from the vendors and SI’s we sat down with led to significantly different weightings in the value and need for supplier/reseller/integrator responsibilities and services – and indeed significant mismatches between the vendor and SI communities – and with conventional wisdom.
The outcome was a major re-allocation of resources to functions which would both increase revenue vendor and customer satisfaction.
